The company founder, Jeff Van Leuven established SPOKELET along with and now in honor of his 6- year-old son Jakob, who passed away FEB 20, 2007 after a 2 1/2- year battle against Nueroblastoma, a childhood cancer that generally affects children under 5 years old. It has always been our strong desire at SPOKELET to help other children and their families through this difficult time.

The SPOKELET bracelet has undergone many design and production phases. Each SPOKELET is hand-crafted by one of the worlds finest artisans, using the highest quality materials available, including stainless steel and titanium. Each one is just a bit unique.

SPOKELET is committed to the development and introduction of new products for those who not only want to make a fashion statement but want to help in the fight against childhood cancers.

In early 2007, Tom was inspired by Jakob's story and sent him a signed jersey. Jakob was forever grateful for Tom's time and generosity and wore the jersey with pride often.
