Collins, CO) October 30, 2006 — Lee's Cyclery today
announced that Tom Danielson of the Discovery Channel Professional Cycling
Team and Lee's Cyclery will hold a benefit to raise money for junior
cycling development programs in Colorado. The event is free to the public
and will include a Q&A with Danielson and Dave Towle, America's premier
race announcer. Also scheduled are a meet and greet autograph session,
raffles, a
silent auction,
and door prizes.
"Junior programs are essential to finding and growing
the best talents in the sport," said Danielson, "I certainly
benefited from these programs and it's great to be able to give back a
little and contribute."
The event will be held at Lee's Cyclery's south store
location at 931 E. Harmony Road, Fort Collins, Colorado. Doors open at
6pm.
On Saturday, November 11th, Tom will lead a group ride
through
the foothills
west of Fort Collins. The ride is limited to 30 participants and requires
a $100 donation. Each participant will have a photo taken with Tom during
the ride and receive a printed copy by mail. Riders can reserve a spot
