Hi Tom and Kristin,
Nice website. I enjoyed reading Kristin's description about the hike to Treasure Falls. I have been XC skiing on the roads near Wolf Creek Pass the last 2 weekends. In 2004, I was at the Mt Evans race (finished a respecatble 21st in the CAT 4 race, a mere 36 min behind Tom). It was great to see Tom finish strong in the Vuelta, staying with the big boys like Valverde, Vino, Sastre and Kash. Great stage win as well. Best of luck to both of you for a great 2007 season.

Tom,

Totally awesome the way you have fought back in this Vuelta! Reading the live report from CN I was discouraged when you fell back early on the last climb, but then to come across the line 8th only 46 seconds back - wow! You were haulin tail man.

You have to earn the kind of faith that Johan had is Lance, or that the DS's have in Floyd, Basso, Vino, etc.

I think the most important thing about this Vuelta is that you have probably earned that faith by fighting back! You also have experience now as a leader.

I look for great things!

And if you climb like we all know can up the Observatorio Astronomico, Alto de Monachil and the Sierra de la Pandera who knows where you'll be come Madrid . Top 10? Top 5? Top 3? Better?

My Uncle Ted had the pleasure meeting you on the plane to Frankfurt in July, and you were kind enough to autograph personally to me a pair of your bikeshoe covers. Thank you so much. Last weekend I just finished a 40 mile Livestrong ride (Lance Armstrong's Foundation) in Portland. It is such a great event. I will be following your bike career and congratulations on the Tour of Austria win!!! Richie (12 year old)

Hello Tom how are you? I am a little bit dissapointed from the Discovery team on the Tour de France. The team needs a strong leader. And you are the leader in my eyes now! I was for the US Postal team and now i like to see the *Discovery Rockets*. (smile) But Tom when your feeling is bad or when you are sad then only think of these words..the God of cycling is a Discovery fan!
